Reflections

Concept

Obviously I’m a visual type of person, that’s how I experience the world. That's how I was born. But also hypersensitive, but I guess it has to be that way. I’ve always been good at doing something with my hands, anything. Mostly when I paint, or do ship sculptures. But I don’t believe in the inspiration that is awaited. I believe first in the profession, laying the groundwork, and then on. Only then can one try to change things, and make them one's own, imbued with oneself. For me, inspiration comes during work, the process of creation. Then, when all the concentration is in what I'm doing, and I don't have a sense of presence, time ... then sometimes something touches me that actually happens by chance or unrelated to thinking and mind .... as if I'm connected to the subconscious ... that the condition is an inspiration to me. That is, in other words, maximum immersion in paper and paint. Then art can happen, but it is much more complex, it is a reflection of my mind, state, maturity ... life ... I believe in work, effort, every day ... or, as the ancient Romans would say ... "Nulla this is the line "
