About the Technique This is a mixed technique watercolor and acrylic on Kent paper. Some parts were done with colored pencils. I painted on paneled, sprayed with UV protection, water resistant and glazed. When I started my installations I thought about the color fading in 2019 and couldn't believe anything but oil paints. I chose a manufacturer, and I would not use anything but quality paints that I use for my paintings, whose colors are still the same after 40 years. And when the colors fade, modern screen protectors can restore the luster, just like varnish for oil paintings. Holbein's SATIN VARNISH I use a mixed technique because, excuse me, paints have a higher degree of pigment and, to my eye, beautiful colors. I can rest assured that I will be adding color to this painting every six months until it is completed. Concept I began painting a picture of my daughter making a phone call. Somehow, it is an image of the forest I went to when I was a child. The caller should be a creature of nature. On the right side, a bird-like strechia flower. I wonder if the trees in that forest exist today. Near our house, the trees have been cut down and the number of birds has decreased. I want to ask the birds. With this desire to ask, I made a phone call, and the girl's body is now covered with what look like bird feathers. This is an original painting that I put online at @madsartgallery starting September 28, 2022. The general director of Foudazione Amedeo Modigliani has offered the painting to the Modigliani Opera Vision at a price of 700£ more than the Italian emerging price. It was supposed to be. International mail stopped. The Foundation returned to Rome after the opening of the exhibition and the painting could not be exhibited.
