Provencal markets are a special festival and celebration of life. It's a riot of colors, smells, conversations and music. Just yesterday, the small central square of a small Provencal town was sleepy and calm. But everything changes when the market day comes and the square is filled with life and joy. Every detail seen excites the appetite and awakens the imagination. So looking at the bright and juicy garlic, you immediately feel how it cracks under the knife, and the kitchen is filled with an incredible aroma of fried garlic, olive oil and herbs. Imagine how to set a beautiful table in the garden and gather with your closest and dearest people for lunch, enjoying delicious food and carefree conversations.
The painting is made with professional watercolor paints on French cotton paper. I leave a white paper frame on the picture so that you have the opportunity to choose a suitable passepartout and frame. If desired, it can be cut.

Concept

Watercolor for me is an opportunity to express impressions of what I saw in travels, to convey my feelings from the diversity and uniqueness of the surrounding world. With the help of a brush, I can show the barely noticeable variability of the atmosphere, air, light. Everything that can be instantly imprinted in memory, but so difficult to explain in words. I prefer the "wet" technique, when the paint is applied to paper soaked with plenty of water. I like that watercolor paints themselves are involved in the creation of the picture. Sometimes, on a wet paper sheet, the image looks fuzzy, a little blurry, like a memory or a dream. I try to pick up on the hints that watercolor gives me by interacting with the damp surface of the paper and develop our dialogue with it without turning it into an argument. Bring those emotions and energy that inspire me to work.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
