Of course, a flower is one of the most beautiful objects to draw. The variety of colors, shades and textures always attracts attention. I saw this sunny rhododendron in the center of St. Petersburg. On a warm summer day, when all the cafes decorate their verandas with tubs of flowers, I could not pass by this flower. My attention was attracted by the pattern of bizarre shadows that beautifully intertwined on the sunlit petals. In places, the sun whitened bright pink petals, and in the shadows, on the contrary, a rich and deep color was formed. Such contrasting lighting always makes any objects interesting.
