All urban birds perceive humans as a source of food. If you stop at the edge of the pond, the bird will immediately rush to you, even if you have to swim from the opposite end of the pond. It's funny to see how different their character and behavior are. Brusque and arrogant seagulls, more passive and cautious ducks, quite aggressive dives, etc…
The painting is made with professional watercolor paint on handmade Italian paper. Like other paintings, the painting should be protected from direct sunlight.

Concept

Watercolor for me is an opportunity to express impressions of what I saw in travels, to convey my feelings from the diversity and uniqueness of the surrounding world. With the help of a brush, I can show the barely noticeable variability of the atmosphere, air, light. Everything that can be instantly imprinted in memory, but so difficult to explain in words. I prefer the "wet" technique, when the paint is applied to paper soaked with plenty of water. I like that watercolor paints themselves are involved in the creation of the picture. Sometimes, on a wet paper sheet, the image looks fuzzy, a little blurry, like a memory or a dream. I try to pick up on the hints that watercolor gives me by interacting with the damp surface of the paper and develop our dialogue with it without turning it into an argument. Bring those emotions and energy that inspire me to work.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
