I saw this girl on the beach of the Gulf of Finland in Zelenogorsk. She was sitting relaxed on the sand, taking a break from cycling. A strong wind ruffled her hair, and the bright sun made her squint. Looking at her, I thought how important it is sometimes to stop and stop pedaling for a moment in the frenzied rhythm of a big city. Just feel the sun, wind and sand under your feet. And do not be afraid that such a pause will leave you on the sidelines or you will not have time to do something. On the contrary, it will give you more strength, joy and pleasure. Despite the fact that the girl's pose is static, I allowed the watercolor paint to flow dynamically as she wanted. I tried to create a balance between movement and rest, because I believe that one cannot exist without the other. The painting is made by professional watercolors on French cotton paper. Like any other watercolor work, it must be protected from sunlight.
