Most of all in St. Petersburg I like its inhabitants. Every resident feels so much and shows himself as much as possible. This is also visible because of how they dress, how they move, talk, and so on. I like how natural and simple it is for them. And I wonder how they manage to keep it in a large metropolis, where most often everyone follows certain fashion trends and depersonalizes. The painting depicts a St. Petersburg woman. The way she smoked a cigarette could be watched forever. Each movement is smooth, but at the same time clear and confident. And the whole image is so harmoniously assembled.
