[Title] Muyu 171
[Medium] watercolor on Japanese paper
[Size] 408 mm × 408 mm
[Date of creation] February 2022
[Description] This work expresses that the movement of the source (the mind itself) creates existence (existence and patterns) from nothing.
Bamboo washi paper from Awagami Factory is used as the support. The paper is very strong and has a beautiful texture. On the paper, I put the first layer of black watercolors from Machi, which are harmless and very colorful, to create depth of color. Finally, powdered paint for Japanese painting, Kinsho's Gold and Mud Mica, was melted with gum arabic medium and placed on top. The gold enhances the perfection of the work with its unique texture and presence.
It is best to see it with your own eyes, but I would appreciate if the enlarged image below could convey the atmosphere.
