[Title: Muyu 170
[Materials] watercolors and beeswax crayon on Japanese paper
[Size] 408 mm × 408 mm
[Date of creation] January 2022
[Description] This work expresses how the movement of the source (the mind itself) creates something out of nothing (existence and patterns).
Bamboo washi paper from Awagami Factory is used as the support. The paper is very strong and has a beautiful texture. On the paper, the first layer of black watercolors from Machi's Match Basic Color, which are non-toxic and very colorful, is placed to create depth of color, and then the three primary colors (cyan, magenta, and yellow) and white are layered on top. Finally, gold from Stockmar's beeswax crayon, which is also harmless and very colorful, is melted with heat and placed on top. The gold enhances the perfection of the work with its unique texture and presence.
It is best to see it with your own eyes, but I hope the enlarged image below will give you an idea of the atmosphere.
