[Title: Muyu 169
[Medium] watercolors and beeswax crayon on Japanese paper
[Size] 710 mm × 710 mm
[Date of creation] January 2022
[Description] This work expresses that the movement of the source (the mind itself) creates existence (existence and patterns) from nothing.
Bamboo washi paper from Awagami Factory is used as the support. The paper is very strong and has a beautiful texture. The paper is first covered with a first layer of black Machi watercolors, which are harmless and very colorful, to create depth of color. Finally, gold from Stockmar's beeswax crayon, which is also harmless and very colorful, is melted with heat and placed on top. The gold enhances the perfection of the work with its unique texture and presence.
It is best to see it with your own eyes, but I hope the enlarged image below will give you an idea of the atmosphere.
