Tulips and the process of trying to capture the universe of just one flower. The complicated construction is ideal in its perfection! The tulip symbolized peace, tranquility, renewal and at the same time mystical spiritual experiences.
The flower was considered sacred. It is noteworthy that the Turkish word "lale" ("lale") is a tulip, if you write it in Arabic graphics, it is similar in form to the word "Allah" ... ie. GOD .... "Flowers of the East"
This painting was done from life. That bouquet was a present for me by my friend. I loved it so much and decided to save it for everybody for a long time. Tulips are symbolic of love.
