Description

I have used 300lb. Artistico Watercolor Paper for this artwork. The medium is Winsor & Newton Artist Quality, watercolors.
When using this heavy support and artist quality medium, I feel I am making a painting that will be brilliant in color and archival, art that will last a lifetime.
I have made a number of trips to Scotland, my ancestors immigrated from Scotland to Canada in the 1800’s.
I love the countryside, stone fences and many old trees, which are government protected.

The sky is the point of interest, sundown on a cold December early evening, Very old stone house as well , which housed their animals in one section adjoining the main house.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
