This is the beautiful art-deco Tinside Lido in Plymouth, England, which was built in 1935. Up until recent years it ran into terrible state of repair as it was totally left abandoned and succumbed to the battering of the sea and mother nature. This led to it closing down in 1992, but after a campaign to restore it, renovation began, and it was reopened to the public in 2005.
Where I am painting from doesn't show the beauty also behind, which features Plymouth Sound. I might do another painting from a different angle, but in this I really wanted to show how glorious a place this is.
I have used Japanese Kuretake watercolour and ink pens
