watercolor on paper. arche paper. The sun and the setting sun are what I actually saw, but the sky and the sea in the background are changed from the real thing. If you see a red sun as in the title JAPAN, you may still think of the Japanese flag. Therefore, the sky is expressed in a very deep red color. I also added a little design element, which may be one of the common design compositions in Japan, but I drew what I saw on the spot, at the site, and created the image from there. I think it goes well with the frame.
