Description

Miyazaki, Japan. Dining and hotel on the outskirts of a country town.
This is a restaurant where young couples have begun renovating a traditional hot spring hotel.
The back of the hotel leads to the sea and you can sometimes hear the sound of the waves.
When I visited for the first time, I fell in love with the cuteness of the building.
The hotel, which operates in a peaceful place, seems to be loved by locals.
Mainly using watercolor gouache, drawing the movement of the sky and the state of the field using the brush strokes,
Expressed a comfortable atmosphere.

Concept

I draw comfortable scenes that feel the wind by line drawing and painting techniques.
The main motif is illustrations of landscapes and people on the road,
In my work, I try to convey the feeling of air, comfort and warmth I felt.
I use a mixture of watercolor and acrylic paints for painting, and I mainly use a pen for drawing.

I enjoyed making things since I was young, and I have been familiar with painting since I was little.
I believe in what I see and feel and value it.
