Concept

Yusuke's work captures the sparks of life. His work is created by the mixture of his feelings of longing for western paintings and painters that he met in Europe, and anxiety/everyday thoughts. He uses old books from all over the world and painted over with layers and used mineral pigment as a support medium. By layering multiple layers, he wants to capture the radiance of life by expressing the translucency of bloody human skin and the world built on history and culture.
