Description

The entire work was painted in sumi ink, and the vivid pink points were done with transparent watercolors.
I thought now was the right time to paint this theme. Instead of expressing world peace by drawing lots of flowers, I wanted this painting to convey the reality of war crimes.
A completely innocent and helpless child is about to be killed from behind with more weapons than necessary.

Since the ink is all black, it must be expressed only in light and dark.
Although the composition is very flat, I was conscious of giving the viewer a slight sense of distance between the foreground and the background through the use of light and dark.
