Title of the piece The Value of Anger and Fortune This piece depicts what looks like a mole on the right side. I felt that the mole digging furiously in the earth was just like me. The artist believes in a single possibility and pushes forward in the face of poor visibility. The strong will to reach the goal, relying on a mysterious confidence and intuition, although it is not well-founded, comes back to me every time I look at this work. While working on this piece, I expressed it with a sense of excitement rather than darkness, which is just a hard feeling. I expressed myself calmly and objectively, and I was also emotionally involved in the work, as if I was being sucked into the work as I expressed it. I have often thought that this work, titled "The Value of Anger and Happiness," is a perfect representation of the "Soma" that I was at the time. It won a top prize at the International Art Exhibition for High School Students, and I decided to sell it in the hope that someone would get a copy of the actual work. Production time: 10 hours Technique: wood panel, oil pen
