Description

These imaginary flightless bugs with asymmetrical wings were drawn out of shock at learning of "insect deformities" caused by pesticide spraying and soil pollution, anger at humans, and as a reminder to myself. Using several types of pens and several types of paper, this work is a collage of delicate bugs. A work from 2022. An original one-of-a-kind. Conscious of the delicate beauty of insects, I drew and collaged without drafting. Gold pen is used. The color image changes depending on lighting, devices, etc. Also, the color will change to a silverish color with age. Please understand. The frame is silver color.

Concept

　　All of his paintings are done without any preliminary sketches. I can't imagine how it will turn out because I leave it to the movement of my hands, letting my heart and soul hit the canvas at that moment. Therefore, each time, I run my pen through a mixture of anticipation and anxiety. I would be happy if you could feel the same excitement as when you look through a microscope into a small piece of paper. The original, live, non-printed images are still alive. Both the paper and ink deteriorate due to humidity, sunlight, and lighting. We hope you will enjoy and age with our works.
