    Description

There are conflicts all over the world, but we can't say who is to blame, and right now we can only pray that many souls will be happy. I wish a solution could be found as soon as possible. The girl in the center of the picture is named Maru, and she is holding a four-leaf clover in her right hand. In Japan, it is said that finding a clover with four leaves will bring happiness, and Maru is holding a four-leaf clover and praying for people's happiness. This work is drawn with colored pencils on drawing paper, and the background is painted entirely with pastels.

    Concept

Ann lives in a place overlooking the natural beauty of Mount Akagi. When she was a child, she often painted figures with drawing paper and watercolors. At the age of 7, she was inspired by "Galaxy Express 999," and at 12, by the novels of Kenji Miyazawa, she began to draw imaginary worlds. From the age of 15, she began to try her hand at various genres, including Western-style sewing, Japanese-style sewing, embroidery, knitting, and three-dimensional works. During this period, he suffered from depression and panic disorder, and was unable to paint for 10 years. She began to be able to paint again, but whenever she saw or heard about wars, natural disasters, various incidents, and accidents, she felt the harshness of living on the earth, so she created in her mind an ideal world called Maru no Sekai, an imaginary planet far away from the galaxy, and began to paint strange creatures that live there. She paints a world that looks like waves or outer space, and spheres like planets in it, using acrylic paints to subtly change the size of the circles, which she calls "Circle World. The creatures that live in the world of circles are inspired by various current issues on the earth. Ann's world continues to expand, as she also produces goods based on the motifs of the creatures in the round world.
