Unique, beautiful and precious realisation of my reactionary abstract appreciation of life's yin and yang. From my continued development of balance, tension, harmony and movement, informed by but not wholly the figure and its relationships with others and its environment. Martial arts, sports, dance, and life, all affect my process which is based on a huge experience of materials, process and their relationships.These pieces are sculpted from silver, Japanese sumie ink on rice paper interacts with the 3d form, a third element of light and shadows, give a new dimension and satisfaction in a potentially ever changing piece.
