Vietnam is known as an agricultural country. Therefore, in Vietnamese folk religious culture, there are 4 agricultural Gods represented for the weather which is Cloud, Rain, Thunder and Lighting. Vietnamese believe that with the blessing from the 4 Gods, the harvest will be bountiful.
Pháp Điện” - The God of Lightning is a combination of half Human, half Crane, haft Deer (the sacred creatures living in Mountain) which hold significant places in Vietnamese religious culture. The central image features a young lady adorned in stylized costumes inspired by the traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai and Nhat Binh Dress. These costumes are meticulously designed to reflect the elegance and grace of The God of Lightning. She is strumming a Gong - traditional musical instruments, representing the sound of Lightning.
