Description

It is drawn in pencil on a specially made support. The support is made of silver foil, Japanese paper, acrylic paint, and medium. I applied a technique called back leaf in Japanese painting, which gives it a faint glow and a unique texture different from paper.

Concept

“NOT BODY YET” means the body is not yet a body. For instance, even though he wants to do what he wants to do while living a social life such as work, but sometimes his body does not listen to his mind at all. At that time, he feels like he has something in his body that has not become a part of his body yet. He calls it that the body is not yet a body. A body that is something dysfunctional may be no different from a lump that is useless to society. That will always provoke his anxiety. However, he wants to forgive the existence that is not yet a body, just like a mass of meat. This forgiveness is more positive rather than pessimistic or complimenting. Therefore, he thinks he wants to create artworks as “NOT BODY YET”.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
