Story/Setting
"Manekineko (beckoning cat)" has been popular since ancient times in Japan as a lucky ornament that invites good luck. The white cat "invites good fortune," the one with its left hand raised "invites customers," and the cat with its hand longer than its ear "reaches far, inviting both distant customers and money at the same time.
The artist's original arrangement is based on traditional colors, and the work is cute and pop with a wish that good fortune will come to both business people and private homes.

The choice of words, both in Japanese and English, is sometimes beautiful, sometimes brilliant, and sometimes funny, and I incorporate this cultural interest into my art.
