About this character:
Many European architecture before modern era has 3 windows in classic, symmetric design in main rooms of important buildings such as a courthouse, a museum, a palace. About a decade ago, as an architect, Ben Ryuki Miyagi started incorporating such 3 windows in his designs of architecture.
His obsessions with 3 windows now took on the soul of its own, evolving into an art character that looks like a bear, a cat or a rabbit, with ribbons, tiaras, stars, hearts, stitches. This character is named something beary in one word, depending on its style.
About this work:
This is an art depicting a house that looks like beary, the signature style character by Ben Ryuki Miyagi. The house sits on top of a hill.
Original art on wall is a flat image made by oil pastels on a thick kent paper. What looks like a shaped frame with ears is also flat, painted with oil pastels, on a thick kent paper, physically continuous with the art.
This paper is thick enough that it can be adhered to a clip on the back and hung on the wall as is (photos of such examples included).
Or, after purchasing this work, you can put it inside a square or round frame and hang it on the wall. Or, this art can be mounted by adhesion, on a piece of wood, metal, or foam core board cut in the same shape as this art. (You can see many such examples in my other works).
