Outwardly, Gorely volcano does not attract attention, all its beauty can be felt by climbing to the top and looking into its craters. Two hours in an off-road vehicle, then about three hours on foot along the slope. Having overcome this distance, I saw the Blue Lake crater. And he's beautiful. It was there, not yet catching my breath after lifting, that I made the first sketches for this work.
The painting was painted on Pastelmat pastel paper. I use professional pastels from Unison, Mount Vision, Schmincke, Sennelier, Rembrandt.
