    Description

    A pastel from 1998.
I drew this drawing with my fingers on white watercolor paper.
In the 80s and 90s I drew and painted a lot of pastels and watercolors.
Unfortunately, I only have a few left. In the past I almost never photographed my work.
So this pastel is a rarity. The picture is behind a plastic glass, framed by a metal frame. It is only framed provisionally.

    Concept

I was born on August 12, 1968 in Boleslawiec, Lower Silesia (Poland) as Miroslaw Kuzniar. I have been living in Heilbronn, Germany, since 1981.

I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers, of whom I am the youngest. At home it was customary for everyone to have a professional education. I decided to do an apprenticeship as a machine fitter.

I have been working as a freelance artist since 2003. I only paint with palette knives and oil paints. Certain motifs return again and again in my paintings, such as lovers walking hand in hand, mothers with children, cafes, colorful landscapes and city sceneries. I always see the beautiful life in my art. My color palette is purple, pink, yellow and bluish. And yet very much reduced. I mix the paint directly on the canvas.

Since I come from an old German family of artists, I didn't need to study art or attend any painting courses. The color was always lying around at home, I just had to use it.
I had my first art exhibition when I was 16 years old.

I paint very quickly. I finish every painting in one day. Unfortunately, I hardly have any photographs of my old works today. I never used to take photos of my pictures. And so I can't trace back how much I've painted in my life.

    I never got married.
I don't belong to any art association.
