Description

Japanese title "Nishiki Chinago" This is one of a series of Chinago motifs in a series of paintings I have been working on since around 2017. This time the motif is Nishiki Chinago. The painting medium used is oil pastel on thumbhole-sized board canvas. The artist dared to paint only one Nishiki lingcod to give it an impressive finish. The fine grain of the wood panel is also used as a matiere in part of the work. The frame measures 25.0 x 32.0 x 5.0 cm (25.0 x 32.0 x 5.0 cm) and is made of UV-cut acrylic. ( All works can be framed as desired; MDF board and oil pastels have been tested to be sufficiently resistant to direct sunlight and aging)

Concept

Born in Kyoto, Japan. After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Chuo University, he began drawing pictures exclusively. After being fascinated by the expression of “life” by crepas (oil pastel), he pursued a unique expression of life using a method called crepas on a wooden board.

With a unique drawing style of drawing directly on a wooden board (MDF board) with crepas (oil pastel), we are doing art activities that express the vitality and dynamism of the "thing" by vibrant touch and unique coloring. You. Surface protection is varnish for oil painting.

The affected artists are also very interested in Yuzo Saeki, Ichimura Tanaka, Ukiyo-e, Calligraphy and Art Brut.
