This work is part of the "Animals" series. In Hebrew, its name means "the faithful". Legend has it that in the beginning it was perfectly white. But after seeing the cruelty of the humans, storks asked and obtained permission to plunge the tips of her wings into charcoal, in order to darken them as a sign of mourning. Emblematic bird of the Alsace region, these two storks are divided into a geometric shape specific to the "Animals" series. It is clear that a nest can be imagined. There are other legends, including the one indicating that children come into the world carried by storks. So for this work, the male names Aristotle are mentioned twice. Today, certain codes are undergoing metamorphosis... and the Greek philosopher, through his writings, was one of the precursors of animal and naturally... human defence. As for the artist, he leaves everyone the freedom of interpretation!
