My new painting from the series “Past and Present” depicts a girl on a motorbike. She is free, courageous, decisive, free from principles and stereotypes. She is wise and talented... This is how I see a modern “nomadic” girl.
In this work, I wanted to show the reflection of spirits of two civilizations colliding at one point of periodization. This biker-girl is one of the “warriors of the steppes”, a representative of the modern world from the “present”. She is followed by her patroness - Aruah, representatives of the “past." On the spiritual level, they are United, they accompany her along the great path. Now, of course, we have adopted a lot from the nomadic culture: national clothes, household items and even horses have been replaced by cars (motorbike on this painting), the strength of which is measured in horsepowers. By the way, this is how the name for the picture was born: “HorsePower”.
