"Köktem" from the kazakh language means "spring". I was inspired by the central asian (uzbek) flora. Its colors, unique shapes and species. The artwork is decoarive, like a carpet hanging on the wall.

Alua Tebenova is a Kazakhstani artist based in Romania whose paintings have been exhibited in both nations. Through her works, she endeavors to combine certain philosophical aspects with the symbolism attributed to the ethnogenesis of the nomadic people of Central Asia. Tebenova's artistic expression is diverse, she alternates between classical realism and abstract expressionism, fusing the traditional with the modern.
