ARTISTIC CONCEPT
(from Latin conceptus - thought, idea) - a figurative interpretation of life, its problems in a work of art, a specific aesthetic orientation of both a separate work and the artist’s work as a whole. The artistic image has many meanings, and this determines the variability of the conceptual content of any significant work. Traditionally, abstraction and realism are placed at opposite ends of the fine art spectrum. And at first glance, these criteria do not reflect the relationship between the two styles. The artist is free to read and capture the uniqueness in each of his manifested worlds. Whether without form or derived from an existing object or figure, the artist will inherently create their own version of reality, paving the way to abstraction through interpretation. Thus, all art is abstract to some extent. The artist's goal is to show the blurred lines between abstraction and realism, understanding the manifested works, showing the depth and emotion of pure formless color and connection with interpreted reality.
