Landscapes were painted on the Dniester River in the village of Bakota.
The history of Bakota ended in 1981, when during the construction of the Novodnistrovskaya HPP, the population was evicted to neighboring cities, and the settlement itself was completely flooded with water, as were the three other historical cities of Studenytsia, Kalyus, Ushytsia (from 1826, Stara Ushytsia).
