Another large-size beach painting from the marine series Black Door.
Loneliness, frustration, selfishness, hopelessness and at the same time freedom, relief and hope for the better in one artwork. As always, the artist sought to convey the emotions of the people depicted of this contemporary seascape, a lonely woman on the high seas, at the same time the water transparency and the lightness of the sky.
This artwork also reflects the issues of the climate change, to which the attention of observers is constantly attracted. The global ocean level rise, restricted drinking water resources, all these global issues directly affect the life of a human being, and this mutual influence is perceived and presented through analyzing and depicting it in Garry Arzumanyan's art, through a prism of an individual existential dualism.
The artwork is executed with museum-quality oils (Rembrandt). Edges are painted.
