    Description

In this captivating oil painting, the delicate dance of nature's beauty is captured in a timeless tableau. A glass vase, stands as a vessel for an opulent bouquet of lilacs in shades of lavender and white. The composition exudes an air of refined grace and botanical splendor.

The vase's crystal clarity serves as a delicate backdrop for the cascading blossoms, allowing their vibrancy to take center stage.

The bouquet of lilacs spills forth from the vase, a tapestry of purple and white petals that seems to breathe life into the canvas. The shades of lavender and white intermingle in a harmonious composition, a celebration of nature's palette.

The play of light and shadow adds dimension to the scene, casting gentle gradients across the petals and illuminating the glass vase's curves. The artist's use of oil paints infuses the painting with a luminosity that captures the lilacs' delicate beauty and the delicate intricacies of the vase.

The painting transports viewers to a world of sensory delight, inviting them to appreciate the ephemeral beauty of lilacs and the fragile elegance of the glass vase. It is a scene that encourages contemplation, an exploration of the artistry both within nature's creations and the artist's rendition.

    Concept

I've learned to enjoy the process, that's what I like most about watercolor. I work mainly in the wet-on-wet technique, because that's how watercolor shows its maximum potential. The result is always unpredictable, because the watercolor does half of the work and I like that bit of unpredictability that I can't change. I complete the painting and the painting completes me.

The granularity of the pigments, the undertones, the airiness - that's why I love watercolor. I really like to experiment and paint not only with traditional watercolor tools such as brushes, but also with bags, napkins, sponges, etc. I like to paint on large formats as I feel more free to do so.

The main idea of my art is to give people an opportunity to understand themselves and their attitude by looking at familiar things, to discover simple things anew.

I draw on free subject matter, it's more important for me to feel what I want to depict, whether it's an apple or a street in Italy. I'm interested in exploring color combinations and their effect on people in my work.

I try to capture the essence of what is being portrayed without being too detailed, leaving the viewer free to imagine. I'm inspired by the space around me, the way nature and man live together.
