When I paint, I like to use a lot of coincidental expressions, as if I am randomly combining elements of various concepts and playing with them while composing them on the screen. It is an outpouring of something with a primitive and childish physicality before it is verbalized by reason. As one or two of these small, disparate paintings are stacked one on top of the other, they begin to flow together like a story. The production of paintings, which differ in form from the usual three-dimensional works, has just begun. I cannot wait to see what direction these small paintings will take and what kind of world they will depict in the future. Just as three-dimensional elements have been transferred to the plane, all that has been cultivated on the plane will one day be brought into three-dimensional modeling.
