I painted this image from the bank of the river, looking down in the direction of the city's prosperity. In the foreground are rice fields and trees. Behind them, houses and buildings stand in a row. In the distance are a series of mountains. It is a beautiful day with not a cloud in the sky. It is also my mother's favorite scenery. Nature and buildings are well balanced. The nature in the foreground has an abstract expression to create a heartwarming feeling. The trees have a fresh feeling as if they were painted by an impressionist painter. The buildings are painted with dirt on the windows and walls, and the light is consistent throughout. The farther away you go, the paler the painting is, creating a sense of perspective. The telephone poles and the trees between the houses are also drawn in detail. By not depicting the mountains and sky in detail, I was able to create a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The paintings may make you want to visit the actual places.
