Salon d'Automne 2023/2024Salon d'Automne Selected Works 25th Japan-France Contemporary Art World Exhibition 2024Exhibited Works Name KODAIRYU F50 Size Canvas Oil on canvas 116.7cm (H) x 91cm (W) with white stick border and string on the back. The background is painted with three whirlpools and the lines are painted as thin as possible like an ink painting. A brief comment on the integration of comments from people involved in the exhibition. The artist's original "KODAIRYU (Ancient Dragon)," in which the torso and neck are abstracted so that it looks like a small animal like a mouse, or like a plant with arms and legs, could be interpreted differently by different viewers. It is a very interesting abstraction. In this sense, the abstraction of the dragon is successful. The dragon, painted flat, appears to be floating in the sky due to the swirling patterns on the background painted in delicate light blue, creating a good sense of spatial depth.
