The painting depicts the moment after sunset on a warm autumn day in the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains.
In people's houses, the stove is lit, smoke is coming from the chimney.
It is a symbol of home warmth and comfort.
The work is drawn from nature in the picturesque town of Verkhovyna in the Carpathians.
This series of works with the Ukrainian Carpathians is painted from nature, and sometimes in the workshop based on fresh impressions. The Ukrainian Carpathians are an incredible place that inspires creativity.
When I paint from nature, I feel nature with all my senses. I hear the rustling of leaves on the trees, I hear the gurgling of the river, the singing of birds, frequent stories with various domestic and wild animals, meeting local people and all kinds of stories that travel is rich with.
During cycling trips, I often live in a tent, sometimes with local residents, and this whole set of emotions and impressions is reflected in my works.
In each picture is the energy of the places where they are painted.
