I remember the words our teacher said “Do not wait for a sudden inspiration, for a visit from the Muse. You should begin working, otherwise the Muse will pass by you.”

The Muse is proud and stubborn, sometimes you have to chase her, to attract her attention by your energy and determination, by your actions.

The Muse can take various forms, but, once it comes, it fills in the entire space.

All paintings are on stretched canvas come ready to hang. This is the “hidden frame” behind a mounted canvas, meaning you do not have to frame it- it is ready to hang as is. The edges are painted.

All artworks are treated with a lightly glossy top coat that seals and protects the painting.

Concept

ARTISTIC APPROACH

I believe that the world already is full of trouble and of things that trigger negative emotions, so art should be full of light and positivity, it should inspire the person who looks at it, it should catch the viewer’s fantasy, it should emanate goodness.

I believe that an artist, like a musician, can change the viewer’s mood to make it better.

I love people and nature. I love painting them, love the play of light and darkness, and the lively playing of colours.

Mostly I paint using oil colours and watercolour. After learning the technique for painting icons, I fell in love with painting in layers.

Working in oil, I like to combine transparency with applying paint in dense brush strokes. This enables me to create depth and softness, to create a new dimension.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
