The beautiful grain of the spruce wood is brought to life, polished and colored with acrylic, and then the roses are drawn with colored pencils. For the background, the artist used the transparency of oil paint and layered colors to add depth, while depicting a hazy moon. The grain of the wood resonates with the veins of the rose plant, creating a natural pattern. The spruce support and the ripples of the roses and clouds breathe with each other to create an imaginary space. The reddish roses create an unrealistic space in relation to the hazy moon. I think that the temporarily empty space in the atemporal nature, which is neither day nor night, is appropriate for the current reality. It does not express a surrealistic view of the world. Rather, it is a world of maboroshi.
