The painting was inspired by the international plein air painting event Lapmezciems -2023, Latvia. The time spent on the shores of the Gulf of Riga, in the small fishing village of Ragaciems, was very fruitful. September 2023 on the Baltic Sea turned out to be warm, gentle, changeable, and windy. Weather drawn fantastic clouds, sunsets, sunrises and other light effects. Sky and boat, classic plot. A simple motif in certain lighting and color schemes becomes unusual and effective.
