The word "rod" signifies relatives, descendants, compatriots, and the entire nation formed through birth.
In Ukraine, we can observe several replicas of the statue, while the original is located in Krakow.

This work is a spiritual journey to one's roots.
The painting reflects contemplations on individual and collective identity within the national origin, emphasizing the importance of preserving and reconnecting with our cultural heritage.

"Shattered Sky," 100 x 100 cm, oil on canvas, 2023.

The sky, once embodying tranquility and infinity of thoughts for me, has transformed into a source of threat with the unfolding of russia's full-scale war.

The red sky on the canvas serves as a symbol of a dangerous external world, while the clouds simultaneously embody an anxious internal state. My painting not only reproduces internal emotions but also draws the viewer's attention to the ongoing genocide, as the russian army mercilessly attacks and oppresses the Ukrainian people.

This canvas is a call to the world to pay attention to the horrifying events and injustice unfolding before their eyes.
