The artwork is a part of the miniature underwater collection, depicting moving transparent write jellyfish in deep blue water. The jellyfish is called the Australian Spotted Jellyfish and is well-known for its bell-like shape and regularly spaced white spots. Their venom is so mild that they do not use it to capture their food – instead, they filter feed so most of their diet consists of tiny, tiny plankton.
The painting is fun and playful with large strokes of palette knife depicting the water flow. Look at the amazing dark blue colours that make you want to dive into beautiful water and join the dance of jellyfish.
