  • About this artist

    Concept

    Thank you for visiting.

First I would like to introduce my theme for my paintings.

Since I graduated from the oil painting department of the University of the Arts, the biggest theme I have sought in my paintings has been

The pursuit of "pure pictorial space" (in other words, a highly structured and figurative space).

I have participated in many solo and group exhibitions as a place of expression, and have worked hard to improve my skills.

I have been participating in many solo and group exhibitions as a place of expression.

Although I have passed the age of retirement, there is no mandatory retirement for painters.

I will continue to create "pure painting space" in my daily work as before.

I will continue to pursue "pure painting space" in my daily work.

My painting subjects are landscapes, interior scenes, and still lifes.

Recently, however, I have been longing for paintings that give a sense of "eternal time.

I am especially fascinated by the countryside whenever I travel to England.

I have painted many paintings of the countryside whenever I traveled to England.

Fields of golden rape blossoms, sheep grazing in rolling pastures, and

The gently flowing canal called the Canal

Lock for boats to pass through the canal, which has a difference in elevation.

In these, you can feel the gentle flow of time.

I hope you enjoy my paintings.

    Welcome to my Online Gallery

At first I would like to talk about my concept for painting pictures.

On graduating in 1964 from the Tokyo Art University, Oil Picture Department, the most important subject for me was to investigate "Purity Not as illustrations.

My knowledge, interest and ambition in this field, led me to organize many personal exhibitions as well as join other group exhibitions.

My age is over "Kasa Ju" in Japanese, which means eighty years old.

As there is no mandatory retirement age for artists, I will continue to investigate the Purity Picture Space. life.

This concept for me includes painting countryside scenery in the United Kingdom. Kingdom.

I visited England and Scotland many times over the years and I was strongly attracted to the beautiful scenery.

I painted golden glowing rapeseed fields, sheep in pastures, canals and locks.

Each time I look at those paintings I can feel the peaceful and calm passage of time from the scenery.

I hope you enjoy my paintings and thank you so much for visiting my online gallery.
