Concept:
The eye of the Earth, weary, bloodied, not sighted. The visual contact that occurs between the viewer and this artwork should provoke an understanding of the nature of the environmental problem. The pupil of the eye is missing. Or the Earth itself got rid of it so as not to see human crimes. Or the garbage we leave has taken away its sight.
Cracks, as in a drought, but in the depths we see red streams that testify to life. Yes, the Earth is alive! It has its energy, sensations, strength, power, beauty. Her long eyelashes could wipe a Human out of their territory with just one wave.
This work is part of the series "Terra".
The series of works "Terra" criticizes the Anthropocene. The project tells the story of the most valuable and improper replacement - the Earth. It consists of works resembling a section of land that changed its position from horizontal to vertical.
