“Diptych: Amore Vino and A Taste of Trust” is a paired exploration of sensuality, trust, and indulgence. Each painting, measuring 80x60 cm, creates a dialogue between two intimately connected moments, blending the boldness of pop art with the allure of erotic art, while preserving the timeless elegance of retro and vintage styles.
In these works, I sought to depict the delicate balance between vulnerability and control that defines the essence of love. A portrait of a beautiful blonde woman, savoring pasta and wine from the hands of her lover while blindfolded, embodies passion and intimacy through her striking red lips. The blindfold over her eyes symbolizes the courage to embrace the unknown.
The lipstick marks on the glasses of red wine, added with my own lips, enhance the intimate charm of the scene. The soft curves of the female forms, their faces, bare breasts, and the strong masculine hands offering food and wine to the woman, highlight the sensuality and sexuality of the moment against a minimalist black background.
Together, these works celebrate the eternal connection between a man and a woman, where food and drink become metaphors for intimacy, desire, and love.
