Copy of Vincent Van Gogh's work with crabs.
Without reference to this work - I highly recommend watching the movie "Van Gogh. Love, Vicent". This is an animation work done with oil paints on boards. For the film, 125 artists painted 62,450 frames with oil paints using the Van Gogh technique.
Armand Roulin is the main character of this film. I have a copy of his portrait in the store.
Copying artists is interesting because I want to understand how the picture is drawn, and why these strokes are in this particular place. Especially if the work is not in a realistic manner, as it is done as Van Gogh works.
Painting has an interesting nuance - all the paintings live are much brighter, more expressive, and more interesting than in the photo.
