The winter season has come and on the streets of snow-covered cities, we can see interesting small birds with a red breast. These are bullfinches. Among the white snow-covered trees, their bright plumage attracts attention. Only males are red. The female is more modestly colored: her breast is not scarlet, but dark gray.
The bullfinch is a songbird, their beautiful singing resembles a whistle.
Bullfinches are the birds of my childhood, the time when I was still happy about winter, because I could see these wonderful birds!
