Dear viewer, allow me to invite you come with me on a visual journey through my series of paintings: “Reflections on Sustainability” which captures the essence of my temporary stay in Spain. As an artist troubled by the turmoil of war, I temporarily moved to Spain and found solace and inspiration among the enchanting landscapes of the port of Valencia, Spain.
Painting "Orange evening" was painted from real seascape at Port Saplya, which close to Valencia, Spain. It is a small Venice. There are many boats and yachts surrounded by bright houses. During the non-tourist season there is practically no one here, only the wind and birds.
I was impressed by the cold shadow that absorbed the bright warm light from the sunset, slowly squeezing out the warmth of the passing day, perhaps allowing the light to rest at night and allow itself to be absorbed in the morning with renewed vigor already at dawn.
